Mootools Slider With Range Indicator (two knobs)
Posted in MooTools by Gergely Marton | Tags: interface, JavaScript, MooToolsI had been looking for a double pinned slider for one of my projects. My requirements were simple: I had to implement a slider with range marker. I searched for hours and hours, and I did find some nice sliders on mootools forums but it wasn’t what I wanted. I finally changed my search keyword to “slider with two knobs” and I found “Mootools slider with two knobs” written by Nikhil D. Kunder who owns a blog by the name “Expressing IT “. This script was written, just like in my case, in lack of finding a good one doing the job. It’s look and feel can be changed by modifying the CSS file supplied.
Among the standard features it also has some nice bugfixes like:
- Slider uses and absolutely palced CLIPPED image ( Slider gutter range) to indicate the slider range , instead of a division with background image
- The Min and Max Slider Knobs are restricted from crossing over each other
For me it was very useful in one of my projects, check it out!
